Wild Life

Two deer in the front yard, photo taken in March 06'. Mommy and fawn are local residents that live either just below us or above us. I see them in both locations yet they tend to wander in by the house in the early morning. I'm actually looking out the window but maybe 5ft away. If I was outside they may run away a bit. Generally not too far but they are rather cautious.

Gobble Gobble Gobble... Wild Turkeys that live up by the post office but come down by Cottonwood creek thru where our home is and down to the basin of Plateau Creek. Family or flock of Turkeys is about 12. Currently it seems that the family is splitting and the 2 year old males are being pushed out of the flock. We are now seeing some that wander about by themselves. Most of this flock is about 1 to 2 years old. All young. I have no seen the veterans of the family I just know they nest behind the post office in the trees.

Just a few photo's of some of the Wild Life that wonders around near our house.
